Kirk Singleton has been in the aerospace and defense industry since 1996.
He started at Lockheed Martin as a systems engineer for the Army's Tactical Missile System (ATACMS).
At Lockheed, he was accepted into the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP)
for his demonstrated leadership skills. In 2003, he joined the Advanced Systems Design Syndicate,
a unique Research and Development (R&D) group at Lockheed Martin.
After 9 years at Lockheed Martin, Kirk joined Geneva Aerospace
(now L-3 Unmanned Systems) as a Systems/Guidance, Navigation and Controls Engineer.
With Geneva and L-3, Kirk led multiple engineering teams as they developed flight control
software and digital simulations for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
In December 2010, Kirk decided to start his own company, Kerrk Enterprises, Inc.,
to provide efficient, effective aerospace engineering and education services.
Since starting Kerrk Enterprises in 2010, Kirk has primarily worked on 2 projects:
1) Hardware Co-Simulation (i.e. Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)) using Matlab/Simulink
and three FPGAs simultaneously, and 2) Geo-location using only Frequency-of-Arrival
(i.e Doppler) measurements.
